These Insects have been raised on Insect and Butterfly Farms or Plantations in Southeast Asia. Many governments are teaching their people to raise insects for economic purposes versus other industries ( like logging ) that deplete rain forests.
The farming is self-sustaining. The Insects live on average 20-60 days and breed at the end of their life cycle. They are gathered carefully after their natural death. Purchasing these Insects and Butterflies supports these farming efforts. This keeps the land profitable without the need to resort to drastic deforestation or industrialization.
This strategy maximizes conservation efforts and only uses Insects that are legally imported into this country as regulated by the US Fish and Wildlife Department. No endangered species are included in our products.
These Insects and Butterflies are carefully mounted under glass to fully display their unique forms and colors. Each specimen is labeled with its Latin Name.
